About the Weathering Doctor...
|
In these pages we will explore ways to give your rolling stock, structures and equipment the
realistic look of the prototype! The Weathering Doctor will share tips with you that seem to
work on his layout--and will actively be looking for your ideas to share with the community.
We'll also be sharing many cool products along the way. See the individual links below for
reviews of these fine products.
I would also like to invite you to check out hundreds more products at Kanawha Creek Rail
Supply, our e-commerce enabled webstore. Our mission is to bring you different and unusual
model railroading products from a variety of manufacturers and offer them at discount prices
every day. Please take a look and let us know what you think.

always,
Happy Weathering!
I'm a model railroader who particularly enjoys making things look funky! To my way of
thinking, no structure, engine or piece of rolling stock ever makes it on stage in my HO basement
empire unless I've grunged it, rusted it or otherwise killed that "new" look. My favorite tools are
my airbrush, my chalks and my alcohol and india ink washes. With the many top quality and
inexpensive plastic models around today, you don't need to invest a fortune to have a realistic
looking layout. You just need to apply a little judicious weathering and you'll be surprised by the
results!
